1. CREDIT OFFICER POSITION
Duties & Responsibilities
- Generate revenue through consistent delivery of customer, disbursement, and collection targets
- Drive repayment behavior by lending only what the business can afford, consistent follow-up, maintaining accurate records, negotiating repayment schedules and setting discretionary limits.
- Debt collection: efficient and prompt recovery of loans disbursed and interest accrued.
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive relationship with Sacco Customers, Partners, Area Leaders and relevant local authorities.
- Negotiate payment arrangements with customers who have delinquent loans.
- Maintain clear customer records, recording times and dates that contact has been made and noting information that customers have received about Sacco products.
- Supply the business with reports on customer needs/concerns, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, banking, economics, statistics, business administration, accounting or any other related field
- CPA certification will be an added advantage
- Knowledge on the use of QuickBooks is a mandatory requirement
- Must be conversant in using i-Tax.
- 2-3 years’ work experience.
- Knowledge & experience in preparing final company financial position
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong strategic, analytical and organizational skills.
- Experience developing and managing budgets
- Ability to work on own initiative, meet tight deadlines and balance priorities to achieve results
1. BUSINESS DEVELOPER POSITION
Job summary Production
- Assist in implementing, and reviewing business development policies, procedures and reporting systems to enhance growth and profitability
- Developing Business Development strategies, targets and Work plans;
- Implement Business Development strategies to raise current market share, increase sales and support achievement of the Society’s goals and objectives;
- Setting comprehensive goals for products and monitoring their performance to ensure growth and success in the market.
- Design and develop products and services that will satisfy various market segments based on market research findings;
- Assist to identify opportunities to offer new services to members or enhance existing services in order to attract high-value work and enhance value provided to customers;
- Identify marketing opportunities and forecast future business growth to increase membership and sales;
- Monitor & evaluate marketing and sales performance and adjust strategies as need arises. Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
.
Qualification
- A bias in marketing will be an added advantage
- Two (2) years relevant experience at a management level in a SACCO or Financial institution (Micro-Finance)
