In response to the need to empower every Kenyan Citizen wherever they are to save and acquire credit facility at affordable rates on mobile platform, the Directors of Onfon Media Group Ltd (Dennis Makori and Andrew Mbuya) mooted the idea of a co-operative which will embrace technological advancement in supporting & facilitating the initiative and afterwards the Digital Media Sacco Ltd was formed.

Digital Sacco Ltd started its operations in January 2015 with few staff members with their monthly contribution. The Society operates through good governance practices coupled with very Innovative Digital Revolution across the country.


To mobilize funds, increase level of savings and investments for the benefit of members and their families thereby improving socio-economic welfare.

To facilitate savings and affordable credit in an efficient and transparent manner in order to promote members’ welfare by enabling them digitally use and control their finances for economic prosperity.

Digital Media Sacco Ltd. will strive to inculcate an internal culture which is empowering by ensuring that all key stakeholders are involved in decision making and the process of decentralization to facilitate efficiency in decision making at all levels. The members will be facilitated to play a central role in their development process. Digital Media Sacco Ltd. will endeavor to pursue the highest standards of integrity, accountability and transparency. As a learning organization, Digital Media Sacco Ltd will embrace and share new ideas that will add value to the mission. We shall strive to have our staff and the various committees acquire knowledge so as to remain “a learning organization”. Collaboration with all stakeholders will remain a critical role as this has been adding value to our work.
